Copilot Assistant is one more channel type, with its own card and its own “N of M” counter — but instead of talking to your customers, you install it in a tool of YOUR OWN (your internal site, your management panel) so a logged-in user gets AI help right inside that same screen. It’s created just like any other channel: “Add channel” (section 3) → type “Copilot Assistant” → name it.
Its card has its own “Copilot” section, with the code snippet to install the SDK, the manifest status (which screens and actions it can guide or execute) and the minimum required SDK version. The full technical procedure for installation, anchors and the manifest is in Manual 57 · Copilot (integrator); how to activate it, approve the manifest, choose the audience and use it day to day is in Manual 58 · Copilot (operator).
Note — Relationship with your plan
Like any channel, Copilot Assistant counts against a limit of your plan and can become “out of plan” after a plan change — in that case, the assistant panel shows an honest closure message instead of a chat that looks like it works. The full detail (counters, “out of plan”, how to ask for more) is in Manual 62 · Plan capabilities and limits, section 6.
