- The orb and all its controls (mute, hang up, close) carry their own accessible label, readable by
screen readers.
- The Esc key closes the panel and hangs up the call if one was in progress.
- Captions are an accessible log: a screen reader announces new lines without the visitor having to look
for them.
- If the visitor has the system’s “reduce motion” preference on, the orb stops animating with the voice
level — the status text keeps informing all the same.
