**Copilot Assistant** is one more channel type, with its own card and its own “N of M” counter — but instead of talking to your customers, you install it in a tool of YOUR OWN (your internal site, your management panel) so a logged-in user gets AI help right inside that same screen. It's created just like any other channel: “Add channel” (section 3) → type “Copilot Assistant” → name it.

Its card has its own **“Copilot”** section, with the code snippet to install the SDK, the **manifest** status (which screens and actions it can guide or execute) and the minimum required SDK version. The full technical procedure for installation, anchors and the manifest is in **Manual 57 · Copilot (integrator)**; how to activate it, approve the manifest, choose the audience and use it day to day is in **Manual 58 · Copilot (operator)**.

> **Note — Relationship with your plan**
>
> Like any channel, Copilot Assistant counts against a limit of your plan and can become “out of plan” after a plan change — in that case, the assistant panel shows an honest closure message instead of a chat that looks like it works. The full detail (counters, “out of plan”, how to ask for more) is in **Manual 62 · Plan capabilities and limits**, section 6.
