Requirements: Admin role.
- Open Google Drive’s Details, go to the Status tab and click Disconnect.
- Confirm in the warning — this action can’t be undone.
Result: syncing stops immediately. Documents that had already been synced to your knowledge base aren’t automatically deleted — they stay there just like a document you’d uploaded by hand; delete them manually from Knowledge base (Manual 21) if you no longer want them.
Note — Your files remain yours
Your files and folders always live in your own Google Drive account — disconnecting only removes your provider’s service account access; it doesn’t delete or modify anything in your Drive. If you want to revoke access completely, you can also stop sharing your files with the service account’s email from Google Drive itself.
