What happens when a server stops being verified

The Platform periodically checks that every server in the catalog is still responding and is still the same service it always was. If a server stops responding across two checks in a row, or responds but as an identity different from the one it had the first time it was verified, that template is temporarily pulled from the catalog and your connection to it becomes “degraded”:

  • All the tools you had active get turned off at once — the agent loses the ability to use them immediately.
  • You get a notice, by bell and by email, that the service is no longer available.
  • That template’s card stops offering new connections until your provider reviews it.

Warning — When it becomes available again

If the service recovers, your connection is restored with exactly the same tools you had active before the incident — never all of them by default — and you get a second notice confirming it. You don’t need to do anything on your end: there’s no button to force the check yourself, just wait for the notice.
