By connecting Shopify, your agent can look up your catalog live (products, variants, prices) and prepare the customer’s shopping cart directly in the conversation, sharing your own store’s payment link at the end — your agent never touches the money, the customer pays on Shopify.
Unlike other connectors, Shopify has no panel actions: its entire surface is six AI agent tools (section 5) — search and look up products, create and modify a cart. They’re born off until you activate them.
Note — Only for businesses with a store
Shopify is an e-commerce-specific connector: it appears available if your business type has a store — it doesn’t appear by default in other verticals (e.g. real estate). The generic MCP Servers path (Manual 49, section 5) remains open for any case.
