Under Billing → Breakdown by source (Manual 34, section 4) you’ll see your usage split into three sources: Platform, Your own key and Fallback. The “Your own key” row shows calls and tokens (as a purely informational figure, so you can see how much you use your own AI), but never a euro amount — instead, the text “Not billed to your plan”.
Note — Why: your provider pays that cost, not the platform
When you use your own key, it’s your provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or DeepSeek) who bills you directly, under their own billing, outside your commercial relationship with the platform — putting a euro amount here would mean inventing a cost the platform can’t know or bill you for. Check your own provider’s billing panel if you want to see the real cost of your usage.
Warning — It also doesn’t count toward your “AI Budget” or your plan’s token quota
Usage with your own key stays outside the two indicators you already know from your plan (Manual 34, sections 4 and 5): it doesn’t show up in “AI Budget” (€) and doesn’t deduct anything from your monthly token quota. Those two indicators only add up what’s served with the platform’s key — including automatic fallback usage (section 6), which IS billed to the plan like any other turn. Your own key’s tokens are shown only as a reference of how much you use your own provider, never as part of what you consume from your plan.
