With Shopify already connected, the detail's **Status** tab includes a **Test connection** button that makes a real call to your store's MCP server to confirm it's still responding. **Requirements:** Admin role. 1. Open Shopify's **Details** and go to the **Status** tab. 2. Click **Test connection**. **Result:** "Connection successful" if your store is still responding, or "Couldn't connect: [reason]" if the domain no longer exists or your store is closed (section 8). The example below again uses Google Sheets — with Shopify connected, the same "Status" tab shows the "Test connection" and "Disconnect" buttons.
