Your subscription is always in one of these 7 statuses. All of them, except `active`, show a notice — some
are purely informational, others block the service until resolved:

| Status | What it means | Does it block the service? |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **free_use** | Free use, no billing — assigned by your provider's team (partners, internal accounts). No payment limits. | No |
| **trial_15** | 15-day trial period (see Manual 22 "Account sign-up"). Banner with a countdown and a "Manage plan" button to add a payment method before it ends. | No, while the trial lasts |
| **pending_payment** | Plan assigned but payment hasn't been confirmed yet. | **Yes** — the AI service is paused until payment is confirmed |
| **active** | Up to date. No notices. | No |
| **past_due** | The last charge failed. Persistent red banner with the amount due and a "Resolve" button to the payment portal. You get a **7-day grace period** from the failure, during which Stripe automatically retries the charge and the service keeps working normally. | No, while the grace period lasts |
| **suspended** | The `past_due` grace period ended without the charge recovering. | **Yes** |
| **cancelled** | Subscription cancelled. | **Yes** |

> **Important — With the service blocked, this stays accessible**
>
> On `pending_payment`, `suspended` and `cancelled`, the AI and the channels stop helping, but your team can
> always log in, see and resolve their billing (this same screen), and ask your provider's team for help
> (Manual 28 "Support"). You're never left with no way to pay or ask for help.
