When you open a conversation that was handed off, a notice shows up right above the messages: "Handed off:
[source assistant] → [destination assistant] · [reason]". It's purely informational — the conversation is
still viewed and replied to exactly the same.

If a conversation has been handed off more than once, a **"View history"** link also shows up next to the
notice, with the full chain in order.

> **Important — The customer never notices**
>
> There's no transition message or notice to the customer when a handoff happens — it's still the same
> thread, the same channel, the same number. The notice here is exclusive to the inbox, for your team.
