“Copilot Assistant” is one more **channel type**, like WhatsApp or the Web Widget (**Manual 24 · Channels**) — but instead of talking to your customers, you install it in YOUR OWN tool (or your team's) so a logged-in user gets guided or executed help from the AI right inside that same screen. It's created, counted and limited exactly the same as any other channel: “Add channel” → type “Copilot Assistant” → “N of M” counter next to the button, just like in section 2.

Once created, the channel card shows its own **“Copilot”** section: the snippet to install the SDK, the **manifest** (which screens and actions it can guide or execute) pending upload and approval, and the minimum required SDK version. The full technical procedure for installation and the manifest is in **Manual 57 · Copilot (integrator)**; how to activate it, approve the manifest, choose the audience and use it day to day is in **Manual 58 · Copilot (operator)** — this manual only covers its relationship with your plan.

## 6.1 When the copilot arms itself, and the honest closure when it doesn't

The copilot only really activates (arms its tools and responds) when its channel is **in-plan**. If the channel becomes **out of plan** — for example, after downgrading your plan, section 4 — the visitor who opens that assistant panel sees an honest message instead of a chat that looks like it works but doesn't:

This is NOT a failure of your integration: the SDK you installed on your site or tool doesn't need to do anything — the panel handles this closure on its own. If you see this message without having recently downgraded your plan, contact support (**Manual 28**).
