By default, no channel accepts incoming files or lets you reply with them. This toggle, present on
WhatsApp, Telegram and Web Widget cards, turns it on channel by channel.

**Requirements:** administrator role.

1. On the channel's card, find the **"Allow attachments"** row.
2. Turn the toggle on.

**Result:** the change saves instantly and applies only to that channel — you can have attachments on for
the web chat and off for WhatsApp, for example. The channel starts accepting images, audio, documents and
video; on the web chat, the visitor also sees a paperclip to attach one.

What file types each message type accepts, the size limits, content validation, and how your team sees and
replies with attachments from the inbox is covered in full in **Manual 13 · Attachments**.
